We assess land for contamination, pre-drill, and test water quality to ensure the source is safe and sustainable.
Local workers are employed to build the wells. All donations fund labor and materials. All wells are GPS-tagged.

In rural Cambodia, countless families still lack access to clean water. Every day, they must walk long distances to collect water from unreliable sources or spend precious income to buy it, a basic need that should never be out of reach.
At WeDigWells.org, we’re changing that. Our deep water wells provide families with safe, clean, and reliable water right where they live. But what makes this even more powerful is the spirit of sharing deeply rooted in Cambodian culture. A single well often supports not just one household, but 4 to 5 families, as neighbors share this essential resource.
We believe in more than just providing, we believe in empowering.
That’s why we take the time to educate families on hygiene, and how to care for and maintain their wells. And we don’t stop there, our local team regularly follows up, checking on the hardware, testing water quality, and making sure every well continues to serve its community with dignity and reliability.
This is more than a well, it’s a ripple of change, sustained by education, trust, and local care.
Zero Overhead
Our corporate sponsor, Digital Mobility Inc. (DMI), plays a vital role in our mission. Starting in May 2025, for every new client DMI onboards, and with each contract renewal — a new water well is sponsored. DMI also provides us with the technical and administrative support we need, allowing 100% of funds donated to go directly toward building and maintaining wells.
Our story began in Siem Reap, Cambodia, where our founders ran a sustainable hotel & wellness center with a bigger purpose, to fund the installation of clean water wells for families in need. The profits generated from the hotel and wellness center were reinvested into digging wells for rural communities.
When the pandemic forced the center to close, the vision didn’t end — it evolved. The founder went on to establish Digital Mobility Inc., a technology company that now powers the next chapter of our mission.
Wedigwells.org is dedicated to installing clean water wells for impoverished families in Cambodia. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we aim to ensure that every family has access to safe and reliable water sources.
We believe in full transparency — and in treating every family we serve with the dignity and respect they deserve. Each well project is carefully documented from start to finish, with a formal, audited report shared with our donors and sponsors. We include photos of the building process and the hand-off to the recipient families. A plaque with the donor's name, and date of installation are also placed at the well site. For those who request it, we can also provide a short video documentary showcasing the construction and impact of the well. However, we never take a photo or video without permission. Out of respect for the privacy and culture of the beneficiary families, we always ask for consent before sharing their stories.
The wells we have installed to date continue to provide precious, life-sustaining clean water to families across rural communities in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Each well project is more than just infrastructure, it’s a step toward long-term health and dignity.
Alongside every installation, we offer a hygiene course to educate families on safe water practices and sanitation. Our commitment doesn’t stop at installation; we regularly monitor and maintain each well to ensure it remains a reliable source of clean water. There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer. We welcome professionals such as water technicians, engineers, and construction laborers to contribute their skills toward research, development, design, consultation, or laboratory support. We also invite volunteers in areas like media, legal, accounting, and technology to help strengthen our operations behind the scenes. For those wishing to travel to Cambodia and assist with well construction or maintenance on the ground, we offer immersive experiences in collaboration with our local team. Volunteers fundraise to cover their travel and accommodation costs, and we assist with local arrangements. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all involved, all in-country volunteers go through a standard application and vetting process.
Sponsorship can be as personal or as practical as you choose. Many individuals sponsor wells in memory of a loved one, creating a lasting and meaningful legacy. Corporate sponsors support our mission by funding wells or contributing monthly to our ongoing maintenance and hygiene education programs. We also partner with schools, community groups, and organizations that want to sponsor wells as part of a team volunteer experience in Cambodia.
